LaMar’s Donuts Opens New Location in Wichita, Kansas

DENVER, Colo., February 8, 2008 – LaMar’s Donuts today announced a new location will open in Wichita, Kan. on Monday, February 11. The new LaMar’s store will be the second one both for Wichita and for local franchisee Doug Wessley, a prominent civic leader. “Doug is not only a great franchisee; he is an active member of the Wichita community,” said Anthony Bonelli, LaMar’s CEO.

Last June, Wessley hand-delivered 150 dozen fresh donuts to the people of Greensburg, Kan., which was struck by one of the most devastating tornadoes in American history.

LaMar’s currently has over 75 varieties of donuts – the Ray’s Original Glazed, the Chocolate Iced Devil’s Food and the White Iced Raspberry Bizmark being the company’s top sellers.

Customer’s can visit the new LaMar’s store at 3301 E. Harry St. Wessley’s first store opened in 2001 and is located at 10051 West 21st Street North.

Franchisee
Testimonials

"Being a LaMar’s franchisee we received great support and assistance from the corporate office. This support is ongoing and we can rely on them whenever we encounter problems. With Corporate’s assistance, we received good coverage from the local TV, radio and print media, and since then, have seen our sales and customer base increase substantially. As we look to future growth and expansion, it’s reassuring to know that we always have LaMar’s and our fellow franchisees at our side."

Richard Hirose - Phoenix, Arizona

"My favorite part of being a LaMar’s franchisee is that it affords me the opportunity to be a true entrepreneur and work for myself. I take great pride in owning my own business, and because the LaMar’s brand is so strong, it makes it easy to be successful. It’s simple really: the product is extraordinary, people love donuts, and I get to see it firsthand everyday."

Larry Laux - Lincoln, Nebraska
