LaMar’s Launches Series of “Limited Edition” Donuts
LaMar’s first creation, Strawberries ‘n Cream,
debuts in stores on April 11
DENVER – LaMar’s Donuts
is launching the first in a series of new donuts available for a limited
time. The Strawberries ‘n Cream bizmark, the first of eleven
donut creations to debut, is now available at all Colorado locations
through the end of May.
Designed to satisfy any sweet tooth, the Strawberries ‘n Cream
bizmark is filled with a strawberry fruit filling and Bavarian cream.
Patrons can choose from two icings – an all-over glaze or a white
icing that blankets the top of each bizmark.
“Initial batches tested through the roof, and this combination
is perfect for our spring limited edition offering,” said LaMar’s
CEO, Anthony Bonelli. “Along with these new creations, LaMar’s
offers specialty coffee blends and smoothies that complement
each.”
Bonelli recommends pairing the Strawberries ‘n Cream bizmark
with the Breakfast Blend from Dazbog Coffee. “The medium body
and sweet finish of the Breakfast Blend and the sweetness of the strawberries
and the Bavarian cream create an amazing combination – it’ll
send your taste buds into a frenzy,” said Bonelli.
On the heels of the Strawberries ‘n Cream bizmark, LaMar’s
will debut its next creation, the Citrus Burst, a yeast-raised donut
with a citrus zest. The Citrus Burst is slated to hit stores this summer.
Several new flavors will also debut through February 2006.
LaMar’s currently has over 75 varieties of donuts – the
Original Raised Glazed, the Chocolate Iced Devil’s Food and the
Raspberry Glazed bizmark being the company’s top sellers.
